1. What we collect

Connext stores: your account profile (email, display name, location), résumé content you upload, generated documents, run history, and credit balance. We never sell this data. We do not sell your email address.

2. How your résumé is used

When you click Submit — run pipeline, your résumé text is sent directly from your browser to Anthropic's Claude API over HTTPS. Connext does not store a copy of your raw résumé text on our servers beyond the run snapshot you can view in your history. If you delete a run from your account, the snapshot is removed from Firestore.

3. Bring-your-own-key (BYOK)

BYOK mode means your Anthropic API key is held in browser memory for the duration of one session and is sent only to api.anthropic.com. We do not log, store, or transmit your API key. Reload the page and the key is cleared.

Launch promo (v9.4.7): For 15 days starting May 25, 2026, new sign-ups get BYOK completely free. No credit card required. The trial is 15 days from the date you sign up (capped at the launch-window end). After the trial, BYOK reverts to $3.99/month — you can cancel any time before then. The trial end date is stored at /users/{uid}.byokTrialEndsAt. You can verify it from the browser console with __connext.aurora.trialState(). No payment information is collected for the trial.

4. Credits & fair-use

• Credits are non-refundable once consumed. A search is considered consumed the moment the pipeline begins executing, regardless of output quality.
• If a pipeline run fails due to a Connext-side bug, the credits are refunded to your balance within 24 hours.
• Credits do not expire. They remain on your account until used.
• Free-trial credits expire 7 days after first sign-in.
• BYOK subscribers are not metered with credits — their $3.99 monthly subscription includes unlimited pipeline runs as long as their own Anthropic key has capacity. Credit balance and tier-specific credit costs apply only to Silver / Gold / Platinum seekers.
• You may not resell, transfer, or share credits between accounts.
• Automated, scripted, or bulk use of the pipeline (more than 100 runs in a 24-hour window) is prohibited and will pause your account pending review.

5. Employer subscriptions (Silver / Gold / Platinum)

Employer plans are billed monthly and renew automatically until cancelled. Each plan allows a fixed number of active job listings per billing cycle: Silver 10, Gold 30, Platinum 50. Removing a listing frees up a slot the same day. Replacing or editing a listing does not consume an additional slot. Unused slots do not roll over between months.

• You may cancel at any time from your employer dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle; you retain access until then.
• Refunds are not issued for partial months unless required by law in your jurisdiction.
• Platinum auto-match: candidate recommendations are generated from public seeker profiles. Seekers control whether their profile is public from their account settings.
• If you downgrade and your active listing count exceeds your new plan's limit, the most recently posted listings are auto-paused until you remove enough to fit the new limit. Paused listings are not visible to seekers but are not deleted.
• Job posting content is your responsibility. We reserve the right to remove listings that violate our content policy (discrimination, illegal work, MLM/pyramid schemes, fake postings).

6. Job board & applications

When you click Apply on a job listing, Connext creates an application record at /applications/{id} containing your account UID, display name, email, a snapshot of your most recent run profile (top skills, current level, location, market band, narrative), the job ID, and the timestamp. This record is visible to the employer who posted the listing and to you. Employers cannot see applications submitted to other employers.

• You can withdraw an application at any time from the job board by clicking the same listing — withdrawal removes the application record permanently.
• Your résumé text itself is not copied into the application; only the structured profile snapshot. If you want to share your full résumé, paste a link in the optional cover note.
• Employers receive a notification at their dashboard. Email notifications to employers are sent only on Gold and Platinum tiers.
• Applications are retained for 18 months after submission, then auto-deleted.

7. Notifications & auto-match

When an employer publishes a job listing, Connext automatically scores it against every public seeker profile and creates in-app notifications for the top three matches. Both the matched seekers and the employer receive notifications.

• Notifications are stored at /notifications/{id} and visible only to the recipient.
• Notifications are kept for 90 days, then auto-deleted.
• You can mark all notifications as read, or delete individual ones, from the bell icon at the top of the page.
• Email delivery of notifications is not yet enabled — only in-app real-time updates.

8. Token usage & model selection

Connext records the number of input and output tokens consumed by each pipeline run. This is stored at /users/{uid}.lifetimeTokenUsage (aggregate totals) and per-run inside each run record. The model used is selected automatically based on your subscription tier:

• Free Trial → Claude Opus 3
• BYOK ($3.99/mo) → Claude Sonnet 4.5 (default; user pays Anthropic directly)
• Silver / Gold → Claude Sonnet 4.5
• Platinum → Claude Opus 4.6

On the BYOK tier, your Anthropic API key is held in browser memory only for the duration of one session and sent only to api.anthropic.com. We do not log, store, or transmit your key. Token counts inform billing for non-BYOK users when payment goes live. BYOK users pay only the $3.99 flat monthly access fee to Connext and the per-token cost directly to Anthropic.

9. Currency, regional pricing & founder discount

Connext displays prices in your local currency based on automatic detection (your account location, then browser language, then timezone). Supported currencies are USD, EUR, GBP, and INR. You can change the displayed currency at any time from the dropdown on the pricing page. The currency you select at checkout is the one you will be billed in when payment goes live.

• Conversion rates shown are snapshots updated periodically; the authoritative charge is computed by our payment processor at the moment of purchase, which may produce a small difference (typically < 2%).
• Founder discount — seekers: the first 100 seekers who choose an annual plan receive 25% off the annual price for life of subscription, as long as they remain on annual billing.
• Founder discount — employers: the first 250 employers who choose an annual plan receive 30% off the annual price for life of subscription, as long as they remain on annual billing.
• Founder slots are claimed in first-come-first-served order at checkout and are non-transferable. Once your slot is reserved, the discount is locked to your account regardless of how many slots remain.
• If you cancel the annual subscription and later re-subscribe, the discount may not be available if the founder cap has since been reached.
• Monthly subscriptions are not eligible for the founder discount; only annual billing qualifies.

10. Payment processing

When payment goes live, Connext will use a PCI-DSS compliant processor (Stripe / Polar / Lemon Squeezy). We never store your full card number; the processor returns a token we use to charge future credit purchases on your account.

11. Refunds

Initial purchases (Silver/Gold/Platinum, or credit top-ups) are refundable in full within 7 days if zero credits have been consumed. Once any credit has been spent, the purchase is non-refundable. Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days.

12. Your data rights

You can request a copy of your account data or delete your account at any time by emailing privacy@neekos.dev. Account deletion removes your profile, run history, and credit balance permanently within 30 days.

13. Cookies & analytics

Connext uses Firebase Authentication cookies to keep you signed in. We use light, privacy-respecting analytics (no third-party advertising trackers) to understand which features are used and to debug crashes.

14. Changes to this policy

We will notify you by email and via an in-app banner if we make material changes to this policy. Continued use after a notice constitutes acceptance.
